Sport Bounce
Bounce è nata dall’incontro di 3 amici belgi, Antoine, Maxime e Greg, che giocano a tennis da oltre 25 anni. Quindi sì, veniamo dal mondo del tennis, ma da qualche anno giochiamo sempre più anche a padel. Se vuoi organizzare una partita di tennis o di padel, noi ci siamo!
Ma non è questo il motivo per cui abbiamo creato Bounce (e questa pagina). L’abbiamo fatto perché eravamo stanchi di buttare via così tante palline ogni settimana, ogni mese, ogni anno.
All’epoca non sapevamo ancora che questi sport avessero un impatto ambientale così forte, né che ogni anno venissero prodotte centinaia di milioni di palline. Da lì è nata la nostra missione: rendere il tennis e il padel più sostenibili.
Bounce è stata creata da giocatori, per giocatori, che credono che insieme possiamo davvero fare la differenza nei nostri sport.
Abbiamo deciso di creare Bounce Tube che, tra l’altro, siamo i primi a usare noi stessi, per giocare ogni partita con palline migliori. Come sai, ogni partita inizia con la domanda: “Hai delle palline buone?” Con Bounce Tube, vogliamo che ogni giocatore possa rispondere “SÌ”. Il nostro obiettivo era realizzare il miglior pressurizzatore sul mercato. Per noi, il migliore significa un design curato, facilità d’uso e, naturalmente, grande efficacia. Inoltre, Bounce Tube è estremamente sicuro: non c’è alcun rischio di farsi male, grazie al coperchio fissato al tubo. Niente effetto tappo di champagne, ci dispiace...
Bounce Tube è stato il nostro primo prodotto, e per noi è come un piccolo gioiello di famiglia. Ma abbiamo capito subito che dovevamo sviluppare anche una soluzione pensata per i club. Sono infatti i principali utilizzatori di palline, ed era fondamentale per noi poter offrire anche a loro una risposta concreta. È così che abbiamo sviluppato Bounce Pro, con una visione chiara: fare in modo che un giorno ogni club lo utilizzi nella sua routine quotidiana.
Purtroppo, a un certo punto le palline sono “finite”. Non si può più giocarci, perché la pressione è troppo bassa e il feltro si è consumato. Per noi era fondamentale trovare una soluzione, o meglio ancora più di una.
Per ora raccogliamo e ricicliamo le palline da tennis in Belgio per trasformarle in nuovi campi sportivi. Il nostro obiettivo è riciclare il 95% delle palline. Oggi ne ricicliamo circa il 5%, quindi c’è ancora un enorme margine di miglioramento e noi siamo pronti a raccogliere la sfida!
